- BRIGHT & VERSATILE BLOOMS: Transform your garden with Jewel Mix Nasturtium Tropaeolum Flower Seeds that bloom from mid summer through fall. Our 2-3 inch mix shades of red, orange, and yellow blossoms with round shaped foliage grow as compact mounds (12 inches) or trailing vine plants (up to 60 inches), making them perfect for borders, ground cover, trellises, fences, and containers.
- EDIBLE & FLAVORFUL: More than just beautiful, our nasturtium flowers, leaves, and seeds are fully edible with a zesty, peppery flavor. Add them to salads, sandwiches, or use them as garnishes for a colorful, garden-fresh touch. The seeds can even be pickled or used as a condiment substitute. Making our seed pop your dishes with a culinary twist.
- EASY TO GROW & LOW MAINTENANCE: Ideal for USDA Zones 3-10, a seed will grow if you sow at a rate of 1-2 seeds per plant with 8-12 inch spacing to germinate in 7-10 days at 68°F and thrive in full sun with well-drained soil (pH 6.1 - 7.8). They require minimal watering and upkeep, making them the perfect climbing vines for planting outdoors for both beginner and experienced gardeners.
- POLLINATOR-FRIENDLY & DEER-PROOF: Attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds while keeping deer at bay with our flower seeds for hanging baskets. Their peppery scent helps deter common invasive insects, making them a great choice of climbing vine flower seeds for outdoor gardening.
- COMPANION PLANTING BENEFITS: Nasturtiums don’t just add beauty, they also maintain vegetable gardens by preventing invasive insects. Plant them alongside tomatoes, cucumbers, or other vegetables to help your crops thrive while adding a stunning, edible floral display to your space, making them the ideal outdoor climbing plants.
